EXPERIENCED WORKERS
All workers are screened and skill tested prior to being assigned. The Skilled Trades come with a minimum of 5 years experience. All individuals have a proper working credentials in place before being placed in a position.
ComFact has established pre-testing facilities designed to qualify a worker prior to them working in Alberta. ComFact will also arrange testing in order to provide the individual with a "Certificate of Qualification". This certification gives the worker an equivalency of Journeyman status as recognized in the Apprenticeship Board. Where an Inter-Provincial Certification is required the individual can be scheduled for a second test that will give them the Inter-Provincial status.

HEALTH CARE
Health care; which includes various job descriptions is another trade which Alberta is in short supply. All so often we read head lines such as "There is a nursing shortage", "Our Nurses are Over worked", "Health Care is difficult to find". ComFact has established a Medical division working with professionals around the world. You tell us the need and we can provide you with the talent.
The Medical division works on the same basis as the Skilled Trades under the foreign worker program. All the workers are qualified through the proper authority and will have a proven work track record. They come into Alberta as skilled individuals with proper knowledge ready to work.

WHAT WILL IT COST!
Hourly Rates:
The most frequently asked question is what will it cost our company to hire ComFact. Because of this frequently asked question we felt that a proper explanation should be provided.
We ask for equal pay for equal work. This means that if our worker provides the same skill in their job performance that they receive the same pay.
ComFact is prepared to provide an entry hourly wage to introduce our sub-contract worker crew to the job. This would be for the first two weeks; thereafter we ask that the employee be paid the equivalent hourly wage.
Payroll Cost:
Each employee provided by ComFact is and will remain an employee of ComFact. ComFact will provide each employee with their weekly payroll. ComFact is responsible for all Payroll Deductions, Vacation Pay, Workers Compensation Insurance, Health Insurance, and General Insurance. ComFact bills your company at the end of each work period with a seven day payable.
When assessing the cost remember you have only one expense to be concerned with and that is our billing. ComFact is responsible for all other payroll costs.
To determine this cost add the hourly wage, your vacation pay, your payroll contributions, and your health tax and workers compensation costs. General Insurance covers your operation, ComFact's general insurance covers any accident or claim caused by a ComFact employee. When you compare the gross cost of each employee you will see that ComFact billing rate is equivalent or marginally higher. ComFact has been in this business for over 10 years and our growth has continued over this time. If we were expensive we could not survive in any economy.
Union Head Tax:
ComFact is an open shop employer but ComFact is prepared to pay a head tax if the contractor is unionized. ComFact has worked hand in hand with unions over the past several years without incident.
